(Scott Pelkey / Acme News) ASHEBORO N.C. (ACME NEWS) - Detectives and CSI are on the scene of a shooting where three people were injured this afternoon. A press release from the Asheboro Police Department says at around 4:30 pm, patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Coleridge Road near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in reference to a shooting. Arriving officers found 3 victims, a 19 year old male and two juveniles who had all been shot. (Scott Pelkey / Acme News) All individuals were transported to a local medical facility. Two of the shooting victims were subsequently airlifted to another medical facility. The names and condition of those victims has not yet been released. According to a press release from the Asheboro Police Department, on Saturday, March 19th, 2022, at approximately 10:58 PM, officers responded to Randolph Health in reference to a gunshot victim. When officers arrived they discovered that a 17 year-old juvenile had been shot in the head at a location on Millikan Avenue in Asheboro. ASHEBORO N.C. - A man who shot into a house from a stolen vehicle last month was recently arrested and charged with a felony. On January 20, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Bingham Loflin Rd. in Asheboro for a shooting into a residence. Deputies say they located a bullet hole on the west side of the home which faced Bingham Loflin Rd and that bullet had made it through the wall and into the home. Crime Scene Investigations collected evidence from the scene. Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office received a description of the vehicle and after learning that vehicle was taken without permission they say they were able to identify Dustin Wayne Bailey as a suspect. ASHEBORO N.C. - A suspect has been arrested and charged with Felony Second Degree Murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Randleman on Jan 8th. Tonight the Randolph County Sheriff's Office announced in a press release that they arrested 19-year-old Alexandre Osorio Carbajal (who also goes by the alias Alexander Hernandez). They say Carbajal arrose as a suspect as they investigated the January 8th shooting in Randleman that killed 20-year-old Daniel Lopez Vences. ASHEBORO N.C. (ACME NEWS) – One person is dead today after shots rang out at a party late last night in Randleman. What we have learned today is that on January 8th 2022, a private party was being held at a residence on Leonae Drive in Randleman. At around 10:30 p.m. approximately 20 people who weren't invited showed up and just an hour and fifteen minutes later at 11:45 p.m., a fight broke out in the front yard. During that fight multiple gunshots were fired by an unknown subject. The shooter fled the scene along with most of the guests immediately following the shooting. A flood of 911 calls came in and at 11:58 p.m. the Randolph County Sheriff’s office along with fire and EMS responded to the scene. ASHEBORO N.C. - A man was shot and his car stolen this morning in Trinity, and now police are asking the public to be on the look out for a suspect vehicle. According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff's Office at around 9 a.m. this morning they responded to a call about an assault at the Dollar General on Hwy 62 in Trinity. A 911 caller had reported that the victim had come into the store asking for help stating he had been shot and his car stolen. Randolph County EMS transported the victim to an area hospital. Police located the victims vehicle abandoned on Sabine St in Trinity. The victim was able to provide a description of the suspect vehicle as a green in color Jeep Cherokee occupied by two suspects. ASHEBORO NC (ACME NEWS) - Police are investigating a shooting that occured in earlier this afternoon in Asheboro. Police, CSI, and detectives are actively investigating the scene of a shooting at the intersection of S McCrary St and Dixon Ave. According to an official with the Asheboro Police Department two males had an argument on Dixon Avenue in Asheboro after approaching each other on the street.  Police say one of the males produced a gun and fired multiple shots at the other.  The victim fled the scene and officers say they do not believe he was hit. ASHEBORO NC - A mother and son are in jail today after police say a confrontation over stolen items led to a shooting in Thomasville. According to the Randolph County Sherriff's Office on June 26th, 2021, at around 10:40 pm, deputies responded to a report of an assault on Stonehenge Road in Thomasville. When they arrived they found a gunshot victim lying in the road on Fuller Mill Road. That victim, who has not been identified, was airlifted from the scene in critical condition.
