Kersey Valley Spookywoods
WHEN: The event spans from September 23rd to November 4th on selected evenings. Operating hours are extended until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, concluding at 10 pm on Sundays.
WHERE: Kersey Valley Spookywoods – 1615 Kersey Valley Rd, Archdale
COST: Ticket prices range from $25 to $45, depending on the chosen date. On average, the wait time is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, and groups of 20 or more individuals receive a $5 discount per ticket, excluding Saturdays, when purchased online only.

Sheriff’s Office 4th Annual Trunk or Treat

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is hosting their fourth annual Trunk or Treat in their parking lot at 727 McDowell Rd., Asheboro, on Saturday, October 28th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (or until we run out of candy) along with employees from other county departments and business partners in the community. Citizens are invited to bring the kids out for treats.

FUN FOR EVERYONE!! – Our Annual TRUNK OR TREAT will be held on Tuesday, October 31st from 5:30 – 8:00 pm in Riverside Park! We will have hayrides, a food truck, cotton candy, free popcorn and trunks loaded with candy!! Bring your kiddos in their costumes and enjoy a great night in the park! We are asking for our community to help us out by bringing your vehicle and candy, and set up in the park that night. If you can’t be there, but would like to help, just drop off a bag or two of individually wrapped candy at the Town Hall. The children will be so appreciative!

Pumpkin Palooza at the North Carolina Zoo

Pumpkin Palooza is a fall tradition at the North Carolina Zoo where animals get tasty pumpkins for enrichment. Guests can enjoy watching the animals from around the Zoo pound, stomp, crush, and eat pumpkins. Pumpkin Palooza is included with general admission and will be held October 14-15, 2023.
