Grand Jury Indicts Thomasville Woman in Connection with House Fires

ASHEBORO — A Thomasville woman has turned herself in after being indicted in connection with two house fires that occurred in 2022.
According to a press release, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office was called to Jades Way in Thomasville on Aug. 29, 2022, to investigate two separate residential fires at the same location — one that day and another occurring two days earlier on Aug. 27.
The Randolph County Fire Marshal’s Office notified the sheriff’s office that the fires were suspicious in nature.
The sheriff’s office says following their investigation with the fire marshal’s office, the case was taken to the Randolph County Grand Jury during their March 2024 session.
