One Killed, Three Seriously Injured After Head-On Crash in Trinity

ASHEBORO N.C. - A fatal head-on crash on Finch Farm Road in Trinity last night claimed the life of an 18-year-old and sent three others to the hospital with serious injuries. At 9:10 p.m. on Monday, August 29th, 2022, the State Highway Patrol responded to the report of a crash that occurred on Finch Farm Road near Saddle Club Drive in Randolph County. According to a press release from the North Carolina Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Emily Jane McAllister of Trinity, was traveling north on Finch Farm Road in a 2004 Acura TSX when she traveled left of center and struck a Ford Escape traveling in the opposite direction head-on. ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says they have charged a woman with Felony Death by Distribution this week in connection with a fatal overdose that occured back in March. According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, on March 17th, 2022, Criminal Investigations and Crime Scene investigators responded to Erik Dr, in Trinity for a fatal overdose That investigation led them to obtain a warrant for Ivey Tatum Elswick for Felony Death by Distribution on June 20, 2022. (ACME NEWS) - A woman was arrested Friday night on multiple felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic violations after police say she led them on a vehicle chased that ended in a crash in the Archdale/Trinity area. ASHEBORO N.C. - Police say they arrested a driver found unconscious in a stolen vehicle sitting in traffic in Trinity last week. According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on May 21st, 2022, they responded to the intersection of Meadowbrook Dr. and NC-62 in Trinity, A 911 caller reported an unconscious driver in a vehicle blocking traffic. When a deputy arrived, they found a white SUV with an unconscious male in the driver seat. ASHEBORO N.C. - A man who led police on a vehicle chase was arrested early Saturday morning after police pulled over the "getaway vehicle" that had come to pick him up. According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, on March 19, 2022, at around 3:00 am, a Randolph County Sheriff’s Deputy tried to pull over a motorcycle on Finch Farm Rd., in the Trinity area. The driver failed to stop and a led police on a chase. On Bescher Chapel Road the driver fled into a field, ditched the motorcycle and fled on foot. ASHEBORO N.C. —A domestic disturbance that started when a Winston-Salem man man rammed another car and stabbed another male ended with him in jail facing attempted murder charges. The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says Wednesday night at approximately 9:00 pm, deputies were called to what started out as a vehicle accident where a car had struck a pedestrian on Loflin Hill Road in Trinity. That quickly changed to a domestic situation where one person was armed with a knife. ASHEBORO N.C. - A man was shot and his car stolen this morning in Trinity, and now police are asking the public to be on the look out for a suspect vehicle. According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff's Office at around 9 a.m. this morning they responded to a call about an assault at the Dollar General on Hwy 62 in Trinity. A 911 caller had reported that the victim had come into the store asking for help stating he had been shot and his car stolen. Randolph County EMS transported the victim to an area hospital.
